A Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) is an Undergraduate healthcare professional Program concerned with the diagnosis of diseases through the use of Hematological, Immunological, Microscopically, and Bacteriological techniques. Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS), also called Clinical laboratory science, is an allied health profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases through clinical laboratory tests. In the era of Health care, Medical Laboratory Sciences is top demanding course and it requires to deal with patients on directly basis. With increasing number of habitants and discovery of new diseases the requirement of new types of tests and medicines has increased. This field is majorly concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases by means of clinical laboratory test. The course also equips candidates with the skills required to handle latest machinery so as to perform accurate Laboratory Test. The objective of the course is to produce versatile Medical Laboratory Scientists equipped with adequate knowledge and skills in performing various laboratory analyses and tests related to patients’ diagnosis and treatment and also for the prevention of disease. This course is aimed at producing competent Medical Laboratory Scientists of high professional standing in the delivery of laboratory practice and able to practice in all spheres of medical laboratory sciences or other related areas of employment. The Career possibilities of such students are Lab technician , Lab technologist , Lab supervisor ,Lab manager , Lab assistant , Instructor/Tutor , Lab analyst.

Eligibility – 10 +2 with Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects and either Mathematics or Biology
